1971 VW Karmann Ghia sedan, VIN-1412438958 manufactured January 1971. This is a one owner car with only 39K original miles. The Ghia has a 1600 dual port engine, 3 speed auto-stick transmission, lemon yellow (L11E) exterior, all original black interior including functional AM/FM Sapphire radio and functional factory clock, original slightly worn spare tire and an aftermarket reverse gear warning horn mounted in the engine compartment next to the battery. The VW dealer applied undercoating in May of 1971 when the vehicle was newly purchased so there is zero rust on the floor pans and fender wells. The exterior was repainted in the late 1980’s using the same color (lemon yellow) and 3M Body Schutz was applied to the rocker panels as a preventive measure. All of the chromed parts (bumpers, wheel caps, trim etc.) are original. The Ghia has been in storage since the mid 1990’s and recently (November 2009) had a new battery installed, new front brake calipers, new front hoses, new brake fluid and a complete flush of the fuel system including a carburetor rebuild. The oil was changed, new spark plugs installed and a valve adjustment performed. The engine compression is good except for the # 3 cylinder. Compression is low in #3 because the intake valve is not completely seating. The auto stick clutch disc is stuck to the pressure plate from sitting for so many years and will need removed and cleaned or replaced. The wood grain dash has a 1 inch crack in it near the glove box. The left rear fender has a slight ding in it. The left rear lens has been replaced. There are several gray stain drops on the top of the hood near the latch and several small bubbles in the paint near the left rear quarter panel and right front headlight. The car can be test driven in its current condition. Asking $12,950 USD

Westphalia SO42 Camper, Texas camper is complete (except for the missing icebox) and will need a full restoration. It has been in dry storage in Columbus for the last 15+ years and has very minor rust in the cargo floor and right front floor area. The transmission is good and the engine ran well when last driven but will likely need new push rod tubes and seals to be reliable. The brake and fuel systems will also need attention. The tires have good tread however they are somewhat dry rotted and will probably need replaced. Rust repairs can be very expensive and time consuming. This camper needs very little rust repair to be restored.
